New NIL and Compliance Partnership with Mercyhurst University
MERCYHURST UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES NIL AND COMPLIANCE PARTNERSHIP WITH SPRY
Spry partnership will provide student-athletes with access to cutting edge NIL and compliance software.
Mercyhurst University Athletics has announced a new partnership with Spry to provide MU student-athletes, coaches, and administrators with a compliance, communication and NIL solution.
With Spry, MU student-athletes will have access to best practices, courses, and a robust library of educational resources all used to maximize their NIL potential. Most importantly, MU student-athletes are now able to communicate their NIL disclosures with their compliance administrators in just a few taps on the Spry App.
Throughout the first year of NIL, Mercyhurst student-athletes experienced tremendous success with NIL disclosures. Our partnership with Spry will allow MU student-athletes to access additional tools and resources all in one location. “Utilizing Spry to manage our student-athletes’ NIL disclosures has been extremely beneficial for our compliance department. It is easy to use, convenient for both student-athletes and administrators, and gives our student-athletes the support they are seeking. Our student-athletes have stated that they enjoy using the platform, with one of their favorite features being the customizable virtual business card. The customer service is top-notch, and we look forward to utilizing other features that Spry has to offer as they continue to grow their company,” says Abigail Vietmeier, Assistant Director of Compliance & Academic Support.
Spry makes it possible for student-athletes to communicate within athletic departments and disclose business opportunities in a quick, transparent way. “Spry is thrilled to expand our partnership with Mercyhurst University, ” says Lyle Adams, Founder and CEO of Spry. “The MU athletic department is committing to their student-athletes by investing in new platforms to increase efficiencies for their entire athletic department and we are excited to grow with their department.”
The Mercyhurst University intercollegiate athletics program comprises 25 varsity sports, with the Lakers fielding teams in 13 women’s sports and 12 men’s sports. Two of the programs compete at the Division I level (men’s and women’s ice hockey) while 22 participate on the Division II stage.
