A component of a full grant-in-aid which institutions may provide to a student-athlete. Meals may be provided in the form of actual meals, cash or through university meal plan. Incidental meals may also be provided to a student-athlete in conjunction with away from home competition or on an occasional basis at the discretion of the institution.
