Founded in 2020 by a former NCAA champion, Lyle Adams, who intimately understands the complexities of managing athletic departments, Spry was created to alleviate these pain points and let athletes and coaches focus on their passion for sports. Embracing the essence of ‘spry’—moving quickly, easily, and lightly—we developed innovative solutions to simplify the administrative landscape for colleges.
Adams was part of Wake Forest’s 2007 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship Team. Following a professional soccer career, Lyle transitioned to the tech industry, becoming one of the first 100 employees at Uber. He played a crucial role in designing innovative platforms and tools for data consumers. With a Master’s in Sports Management from Columbia University, Lyle combines his technical expertise and firsthand athletic experience to address and solve the unique challenges facing college athletics today.
