Tell us a little bit about your background and what you did prior to joining Spry:
I studied at USC (Go Trojans!) and ever since graduation I have been working to create intuitive and fluid user experiences in the cyberspace, one rounded corner at a time.

In your own words, what do you do at Spry:
I make ideas come true.

What has been your favorite moment while being a Spry team member?
When I was in an interview with a school admin user and she said she really loved Spry’s platform.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to take my dog, Ruby, to the park before the sunset and go to brunch during weekends.

What is your favorite college sport to watch?
Basketball

Did you play a sport in college? If so, tell us about your experience as a student athlete:
I did not play a sport in college.

What is your biggest hope that NIL unlocks for student athletes?
I think all student-athletes are stars and they all deserve the same opportunity to grow. Therefore, I am always thinking about how Spry can benefit all student-athletes and teach them the skills they need when it comes to personal development.

If you could give one piece of advice to student athletes, what would it be?
Be open-minded. Do not turn down opportunities easily because your dream job could be right there.

After embarking on a professional soccer career, Lyle transitioned to the tech industry, where he was one of the first 100 employees at Uber, designing platforms and tools for data consumers. Lyle also holds a Master’s in Sports Management from Columbia University.
