Spry provides an intercollegiate athletics management platform (the “Platform”) and related tools and services, including, but not limited to the Spry mobile app (the “App”) (collectively, the “Services”) designed to enable collegiate administrators (“Collegiate Administrators”) to manage the college facilities, paperwork, documents, and student athletes (“Student Athletes”) rosters, as well as send in Platform messages, and recruit potential Student Athletes.
This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, process, store, and disclose personal information on www.spry.so (the “Website”), the Platform, the App, and in providing our Services generally. We encourage you to occasionally visit this Privacy Policy to review changes we may have made since your last visit. Sensitive Personal Information:
Some information we may collect may be considered ‘sensitive personal information’ as defined by various U.S. laws. For example, Collegiate Administrators may use the platform to manage Student Athletes’ citizenship, demographics, or health-related information. In addition, we may collect the content of messages sent using the Platform that includes potential information defined as ‘sensitive’.
Children:
We do not intentionally collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have obtained personal information associated with children under the age of 13, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

If you are a student whose information was provided to Spry by a Collegiate Administrator, please contact representatives of that college to exercise your privacy rights. Spry is unable to fulfill privacy rights requests for individuals where it acts as a ‘processor’ of personal information on behalf of its customers.
Our App uses software codes provided by our mobile application business partners (software development kits or SDKs) that let our App software interact with the services those partners provide. Sometimes, these interactions involve a business partner collecting information from the device on which the software is run.

Spry’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Spry uses Google’s Google API services to allow Collegiate Administrators and Student Athletes to synchronize their calendar events on Spry with their Google Calendar.
We have implemented reasonable security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. It is important that you understand, however, that no website or online platform is completely secure. We cannot anticipate all potential misuse of your information, and as a result, cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to Spry.
We will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or internal policies. The criteria we use to determine retention periods for each category of personal information is based on the type of personal information, contractual requirements, or with regards to product or service maintenance and improvements. We will also retain and use personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Appeal:

If, after we have processed your appeal, you are still unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with your state attorney general.
Authorized Agents:
If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of another person, you must provide a copy of a lawful power of attorney or written authorization from the consumer (along with proof of your identity). If you make a request as an authorized agent, you will receive additional instructions. Depending on the type of request, we may contact you or the consumer on whose behalf you claim to act to verify your authorization.
Right to Non-Discrimination:
We do not discriminate against customers who exercise any of their rights described in our privacy policy.
Controller/Processor Designation:
We operate as a ‘controller’ (and a ‘business’ under CCPA) with respect to providing our Website. We operate as a ‘processor’ (and a ‘service provider’ under the CCPA) with respect to providing our Services to our customers.
