Books

Books are an element of a grant-in-aid award.  “Books” is an all-encompassing term that refers to any required educational, material including traditional textbooks, ebooks, subscriptions, etc. While a student-athlete receiving books as a part of an athletic grant-in-aid may receive the full cost of such materials, NCAA legislation stipulates that a generic figure of $800 shall be used in the equivalency calculation of a grant-in-aid.
