Belmont Abbey Athletics Partners with Spry
Spry partnership will provide administrators, coaches, and student-athletes access to Spry’s comprehensive collegiate athletic solution.
BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey Athletics Department has partnered with Spry, an athletics management platform, to improve communication and simplify essential department operations. The joint announcement was made today.
“This partnership with Spry represents an enhancement of the tools we provide to support our coaches and students who participate in athletics,” said Paul Lyon, Belmont Abbey Senior Associate Director of Athletics. “Spry will streamline communication in the department and improve our efficiency and effectiveness, allowing our coaches to focus on our mission, to Educate Champions in Mind, Body, and Soul.”
Spry’s software is used by collegiate athletic departments to handle vital functions like recruiting, compliance, scheduling, communication, and education. The platform provides a centralized hub for staff, coaches, and student-athletes to manage tasks, share information, and stay organized.
“Spry is proud to support Belmont Abbey Athletics on their journey to excellence,” Lyle Adams, Founder and CEO of Spry said. “We’re inspired by their desire to improve continuously. Our partnership will ultimately benefit all BAC student-athletes, coaches, and administrators.”
The Spry platform will enable Belmont Abbey Athletics to:
- Simplify scheduling for practices, travel, and facility usage via SpryCalendar
- Share important updates, announcements, and educational resources with student-athletes, coaches, and athletic staff.
- Track student-athlete eligibility, academics, and health records efficiently while safeguarding sensitive data. Automated alerts notify staff of deadlines to keep students on track.
