Team Tuesday

Summer is under way and next week we’ll be out celebrating America’s independence. On July 4th 1776, the United States of America proclaimed its independence from England by signing the Declaration of Independence.  Around the country people have many traditions and favorite ways to celebrate. We asked the Spry team how they will be celebrating next week:

The 4th of July is coming up, what is your favorite food to BBQ or how do you celebrate?

  • With a cold drink and NO ELECTRONICS – Ellen Zavian
  • You simply cannot go wrong with a cheeseburger, hot off the grill. LTO, ketchup and mustard included! – Matt Suchecki
  • Every year, we have the 4th of July Olympics.  Teams are created and we have events like a water balloon toss or three legged races throughout the day.  The winners are celebrated at the end of the evening while we watch fireworks. – Sarah Knysh
  • We make a mean brisket and enjoy the day off. – Lyle Adams
  • I love hamburgers and watching fireworks in the driveway with my daughter – Barbara Walker
  • The best side dish is Mac & Cheese and every year my family has a cookout at my parents home! – Jackson Donahue
  • All year long I think about celebrating the 4th with roasted corn on the cob with Old Bay seasoning. – Todd Hairston
  • We love to eat BBQ mutton and chickens with family and friends. – Keith Martin
  • I love watching fireworks with my son and eating ribs!! – Christine Simmons
